Joyce's Mickey Finn Page

Mickey Finn came to us via the Ct. SPCA on September the 24th 2007.

 Mickey was found covered with fleas and ticks and needed to be shaved to the skin to help him heal from his many insect bites and raw spots from itching .

I know many folks think Bichons are pesty little toy breed dogs but Mickey has never given us a bit of troble once he settled in to our house ... ( I was told to give him three weeks to be more like himself. ) It took him about three days to settle in and has not changed since he did

 This is Mickey just a few weeks after he came to us .... in his royal blue hoody which by the way happens to match hoodies , both John and I have.   We did not buy them with that in mind but the royal blue one fit him best !

The rawhide bone is one of Mickeys favorite chew treats .... He's wild for them !!

 Bichons, like any other dog has his favorite things , stuffed toys with squeekers were and aquired taste for Mickey but rawhide was his all time fav. from day one .

Rawhide only comes  second to one other thing ...Long , long long walks with myself or John.  Bring out the leash and its pandamonium ! He will run figure eights around the tables and chairs of our living room for a nice long walk . 

 Mickey is not related to the Chow hound ... unless he sees you eating something first .

His dog food is ok ..but anything in your hand is far better !
